Edward Steinberg
Edward Steinberg is the Co-Founder and Chairman of Velocity Processing. As a business global strategist, Edward’s strengths are tailored to expansion and robust business protocols. He is an expert at forging relationships and a visionary whose entrepreneurial mode creates innovation and breeds success. His mantra is that “business is about relationships”.
Prior to his involvement with Velocity, Edward was the Chairman of the Board for Metro Transportation Services, Health Trans, and Metro Taxi, guiding the companies from inception until they were purchased in 1997 by Coach USA, a New York Stock Exchange company. Edward has been Vice President and Man of the Year for the Greater Miami Hotel and Motel Association, President of the Transplant Foundation for the University of Miami, President of the Haven Center for the developmentally disabled, an inaugural Executive Committee Member and member of the Board for the Greater Miami Visitor's and Convention Bureau, Vice President of Miami Dade County’s Citizen Transportation Advisory Committee, Paratransit Operator of the Year by the Taxicab, Limousine, Paratransit Association, President of the Florida Transit Operators, and President of the South Florida Non-Emergency Transportation Association.
On December 19, 1991, Miami-Dade County and the City of Miami proclaimed “Edward Steinberg Day” in recognition of his civic and business achievements. He is also a founder at Mount Sinai Hospital, a Champion at the University of Miami School of Medicine, and is involved in various philanthropic endeavors.
Jeff Davidson
Jeff Davidson is the Co-Founder and CEO of Velocity Processing. He is responsible for the company’s operations and custom-built technology, including end-to-end management of Velocity’s payment ecosystem. His areas of specialization are the development of sophisticated analytical tools utilized to perform empirical analysis of merchant statements and the implementation of customized solutions.
Jeff plays a pivotal role in the acclimation of strategic referral partners and the selection of vendor relationships. He is actively involved in Velocity’s technological innovation process, relentlessly seeking automation and process improvements – earning him the nickname “The Scientist”. Over the past several years, he has served on a number of national committees, most recently Elavon's MSP Advisory Committee, Elavon's AMEX OptBlue Committee, and Fidano’s PulsePoint Advisory Board.
Prior to entering the merchant services arena, Jeff was an enterprise application developer for Intel in California where he co-developed a worldwide stock application. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree (with Honors) in Decision & Information Sciences from the University of Florida, and is certified in supply chain management and logistics. Jeff’s passions include tennis, boating, golf, cooking, painting, music, automation technologies, and artificial intelligence. He is an ardent Bordeaux wine collector and an avid reader of management, negotiation, and entrepreneurial books.
Bryan Steele
Bryan Steele is the Director of Operations at Velocity Processing, where he serves as the dedicated point of contact for clients, delivering a highly personalized and responsive service experience. He oversees onboarding, manages ongoing account relationships, and ensures that payment solutions operate smoothly and efficiently. Known for his hands-on approach and strong communication style, Bryan takes pride in being someone clients can rely on, offering consistency, clarity, and trust.
Bryan brings a diverse and entrepreneurial background to his role, shaped by years of leadership in customer-focused environments. Prior to joining Velocity Processing, he owned and operated multiple businesses in New England, both independently and in partnership. This experience instilled in him a deep understanding of what business owners need from a service provider: responsiveness, accountability, and solutions that simply work. Since relocating to South Florida over seven years ago, Bryan has continued to build on that foundation, developing a reputation for anticipating client needs, resolving challenges efficiently, and creating systems that support both client success and operational flow.
His relocation to Florida marked a meaningful life transition, rooted in love and commitment, as he spent over a decade caring for his partner during a long-term illness. That experience continues to shape Bryan’s perspective—bringing a level of empathy, resilience, and dedication into both his professional and personal life that sets him apart.
Outside of his work at Velocity Processing, Bryan is deeply involved in his local community. He has served on nonprofit boards and played an active role in organizing and leading fundraising initiatives throughout South Florida. His efforts are especially focused on causes related to mental health awareness and housing stability, where he is passionate about creating real, tangible impact. Whether coordinating events, supporting organizations, or connecting people to resources, Bryan is driven by a genuine desire to give back and strengthen the community around him.
At his core, Bryan believes that success—both in business and in life—comes down to relationships. By combining operational expertise with a people-first mindset, he brings a level of care, consistency, and integrity that defines the experience he delivers every day.
